Shortcuts in the Terminal
While a shell or exec session has focus, window and tab chords such as Ctrl+W and Ctrl+T still go to Kubeterm, so you can always leave the terminal from the keyboard. Find and Refresh yield to the shell, which keeps Ctrl+F and Ctrl+R. Two switches under Settings → Keyboard Shortcuts change this:
- Let the terminal handle Ctrl shortcuts: Gives a running shell back Ctrl+W, Ctrl+T, and the other reserved chords. App shortcuts then only work outside the terminal.
- Let the terminal handle the Back shortcut: Gives a running shell back the Back chord — on Windows and Linux that is Alt+←, which the shell uses to move the cursor one word left. Back then only works outside the terminal.
